Fault

Possible cause
1. Main valve in the water
pipe is closed
2. Pipe is blocked or supply
insufficient
3. Floater washer is blocked
due to calcification
4. Inlet valve filter is blocked
5. Float switch is defective
6. Inlet valve coil is defective
1. Water level in the boiler
varies, supply is
insufficient
2. Control defective
3. Outlet valve is calcified
1. Tap calcified or seal
defective
1. Power switch off
2. Thermostat off (–> dry
running protection)
If the boiler is not filled
completely:
3a Main valve in the water
pipe is closed (–> dry
running protection)
3b Pipe is blocked or supply
insufficient (–> dry running
protection)
Remedy
1. Open the main valve.
2. Check the pipe pressure with water
pressure measuring device. Open the
water tap completely. If the water
pressure is less than 0.8 bar
(11.6 psi), the dispenser does not
operate.
3. Decalcify the boiler.
4. Dismount and clean the filter.
5. Check the inlet valve for 25 V
alternating voltage when the float
switch arm is completely depressed.
If 25 V: Replace the switch.
6. Check the coil for 25 V alternating
voltage.
If 25 V: Replace the valve
(see chap. 5A.2).
1. Check the flow rate. Check whether the
pipe is blocked. Open the water tap
completely. If the water pressure is less
than 0.8 bar (11.6 psi), the dispenser does
not operate.
2. Replace the control (see chap. 5K.2).
3. Clean the outlet valve.
1. Clean the tap or replace the seal.
1. Switch on the dispenser.
2. Adjust the thermostat.
Reset the dry running protection.
3a Open the main valve.
Reset the dry running protection.
3b Check the pipe pressure by means of a
water pressure gauge. Open the water tap
completely. If the water pressure is less
than 0.8 bar (11.6 psi) the dispenser does
not operate.
Reset the dry running protection.
