Possible cause
1. Ventilation hose in the
outlet elbow is blocked or
bent
2. Dosing system of flexy-
pack defective
3. Intervals of dosing pulses
out of tolerances

incorrectly inserted
3b Error of control unit
4. Conduction through
concentrate coil out of
tolerances
5. Water level in the boiler
varies, insufficient supply
6. Control unit defective
1. Incorrect insertion of flexy-
pack
2. Transistor, diode in
screened coil, or control
unit defective
1. LED, phototransistor,
photodiode, or control unit
defective
Remedy
1. Decalcify or adjust the hose.
2. Replace the flexy-pack.
3. Check if message "ERROR-last
dosing" is displayed by means of
service device 2. If no ERR is
displayed, proceed with step 4.
If ERR is displayed, proceed with 3a.
3a If not o.k., insert the flexy-pack in
accordance with instructions.
3b Replace the control unit (see chap.
5K.2).
4. See step 3.
5. Check the flow rate, check whether
the supply line is blocked.
6. Replace the control unit (see chap.
5K.2).
1. Insert the flexy pack-in accordance
with instructions, insert a new
package if necessary.
2. Disconnect ST08 from control unit.
Check LED.
If LED flashes: Replace the control
unit.
If LED does not flash: Replace
diode/transistor.
Check the 'empty' indicator and
replace it if necessary.
1. Bridge PINs 1 and 4 of Bu/St08:
Check LED.
If LED flashes: Defective transistor or
diode —> replace. If LED does not
flash: Defective control unit —>
replace.
Defective LED —> replace LED.
