Possible cause
Error in water coil circuit
(safety circuit interrupts
supply after 5 sec.)
• Open coil circuit: Defective
wiring, coil or control unit
• Coil permanently live
• Short circuit coil
Error in Peltier circuit (safety
circuit interrupts supply,
when flowing current
< 1A or > 4A)
• No current supply of the
Peltier element
- yellow LED at control unit
OFF:
Break down of fuse F04
in the power supply unit,
or of thermo fuse in
transformer T01 USA/
Canada.
Transformer T01 or
control unit defective
- yellow LED at control unit
ON: Defective temperature
sensor or control unit
• Circuit of the Peltier
element not connected,
short circuit or defective
control unit
Remedy
• Replace the control unit (see chap.
5K.2)
- if not o.k. —> Check wiring
- if o.k. —> change the coil
• Change the control unit
(see chap. 5K.2)
• Change the coil (see chap. 5K.2)
- Disconnect plug ST07 from the control
unit, replace the fuse and check if
PINs 5 and 2 of transformer T01 carry
11V-14V.
If no voltage —> replace the
transformer and the fuse.
If voltage —> replace the control unit
(see chap. 5K.2).
- Disconnect sensor BU05 from the
control unit.
Check if PINs1 and 3 of BU06 carry
+12V.
If voltage —> replace the sensor.
If no voltage —> replace the control
unit (see chap. 5K.2).
• Replace the control unit.
If not o.k. —> replace the cooling unit
(see chap. 5K.2)
