BSR 64000 Command Reference Guide

area virtual-link

Use the area virtual link command to create a virtual link that connects an OSPF
area to the backbone area (area 0.0.0.0) without being physically connected to the
OSPF backbone area. Use the no area virtual-link command to delete the defined
OSPF virtual link.

Command Syntax
area-id
ip-address
router-id
hello-interval <seconds>
8-10
OSPF area ID number.
IP address associated with the OSPF area ID.
Router ID IP address that associated with the
virtual link neighbor, 32-bit address.
Time in seconds between hello packets on an
interface, value must be the same for all
routers and access servers attached to a
common network.
