Message Description and Remedy
Ethernet IP Description: The main or backup IP TS
streaming Main OUT port is down. If IP streaming is
(or Backup) link enabled, the IP TS OUT port must be
down connected. If IP Streaming with backup is
enabled, both of the IP TS OUT ports (IP
TS OUT 1 and IP TS OUT 2) must be
connected.
Remedy: Connect the port in question.
The cable may be missing or the
associated switch may not be working.
Fan malfunction Description: One of the internal fans has
stopped operating. Continual operation
of the encoder could result in unit
shutdown if the temperature reaches the
safe operating temperature limit.
Remedy: Contact the closest Cisco
customer support center to purchase a
fan replacement kit and/or have the unit
serviced.
Front panel Description: The front panel has been
unlocked unlocked. Settings in the device can now
be changed via the front panel. The front
panel can be locked via the web interface.
HD-SDI input Description: There is no video source on
loss the SDI video input.
Remedy: Examine the video input signal.
HD-SDI picture Description: SDI picture sync loss. The
sync loss video signal does not comply with the
specifications, or an asynchronous switch
has occurred.
Remedy: Examine the video input signal.
H264 IP Statmux: Description: A statmux message arrived
Group rate at the encoder outside the expected
message out of window for message arrivals. This may
sync be caused by network jitter, or the
encoder is not synchronized (either
blackburst sources to the encoders or
video sources to encoders are not in sync
depending on which method is being
used).
