CR LOCK MECHANISM
This mechanism uses a magnetic solenoid, and when the carriage is in the
standby state in the HP position, (CR motor excitation OFF), it locks the
carriage's position. When the carriage is in the locked state, power to the
carriage is turned OFF, the actuator rises up and a projection engages with the
back surface of the carriage, binding the carriage. When carriage lock is
released, power to the carriage is turned ON, the actuator is withdrawn from
the carriage and the lock engagement is canceled.
