To dial manually, you can either use the Manual Dial button on the Konica Fax
9825 or a telephone connected to the TEL jack on the back of the Konica Fax
9825.
To dial with Manual Dial:

Press Manual Dial. You will hear a dial tone.

Dial the telephone number using the numeric keypad on the Konica Fax
9825.

After the call is answered, type any special numbers or codes required
using the numeric keypad. Or Press START to initiate normal fax
transmission.
To dial with a connected telephone:

Lift the handset and wait for a dial tone.

Dial the telephone number using the telephone keypad, one-touch or
speed dial.

using the numeric keypad. Or Press START to initiate normal fax
transmission.

Redialing

Redialing occurs automatically if the remote machine is busy. The machine
hangs up, then waits for the specified dialing interval and redials the number.
If the machine fails to connect after making the specified number of redial
attempts, the machine returns to the standby mode.
If an individual number in a group transmission is busy, the machine dials all
the destinations in the group before attempting to redial the busy number.
If the telephone rings while the machine is waiting to redial, the machine
automatically answers the telephone and receives the incoming document.
While the document is received, the machine returns to the pending redial.
You can select the number of redial attempts and the time interval between
each redial attempt. See the " Number of Redials " section on page 71 and the
" Redial Interval " section on page 72.

Last Number Redialing

Press Redial on the control panel to redial the last dialed number.
