The image received on the remote fax machine was poor
If your document has small type, complex illustrations, photos, or was very light
or very dark, try changing the Resolution, Contrast, Halftone, and Auto
Background settings (see the " Communication Features " section on page 68).
Make a copy of the document on the Konica Fax 9825 to verify that the scanner
is working properly. This problem may also be caused by telephone line
interference. Try sending the document again later.
You keep getting reports you do not want
Check your settings in the Report Options menu. You may wish to turn off
certain reports.
You sent a fax but it was received completely blank
Make sure you have loaded your document face down.
The image received on your fax machine is very poor
Contact the person sending you the fax and ask the party to change the
Resolution and Contrast settings, and to send the fax again.
Nothing happens when you use One-Touch or Speed Dial keys
Make sure something is programmed into the cell referred to by the One-Touch
key or Speed Dial code you are using. Check the fax number to make sure it
was entered correctly. When you are dialing with a Speed Dial code, be sure
to press the Speed Dial key before you enter the code.
If your machine has the Auto Start feature turned off, you will have to press the
Start key before dialing will begin.
Fax does not answer the phone or receive faxes
First check to see that the power cord is connected to the AC outlet and that
the power switch is turned on. Verify that the telephone cable from the wall jack
is connected to the LINE jack on the back of your machine.
Also check the reception mode you are using. Your fax machine will not
automatically receive faxes while in manual reception mode.
Received documents are light or have vertical streaks
First check to see if you are out of toner.
If you are not out of toner, you may need to replace your image drum unit (the
unit is good for up to 20,000 pages depending on usage). Contact your Konica
