to poll confidential documents. During this operation, the entire memory
contents are polled.
There are two methods of retrieving documents:
You may call the Konica Fax 9825 from a remote fax machine equipped
with a telephone and have the documents sent to this remote fax machine.
The faxes may be sent to a third location by calling the Konica Fax 9825
and specifying a fax phone number that the Konica Fax 9825 will call and
send the faxes.
Three disposition requests are available for polled confidential documents.
After transmitting the documents you can request that they be deleted, saved
or printed locally and deleted.
Retrieving Documents to the Remote Location
You must have the password to retrieve the documents stored in Confidential
Receive mode. You must call the Konica Fax 9825 from a fax machine
equipped with a telephone.

Lift the handset on the remote fax machine and wait for a dial tone.

Dial the telephone number for the Konica Fax 9825.

After the Konica Fax 9825 answers, you will hear a facsimile tone
sequence.

When you hear a pause in the tone sequence, press '*' and wait for the 3
confirmation tones.

Press '#' and enter the four-digit secure access password for the remote
Konica Fax 9825.

Press '**'.
If there are no documents in memory, a tone is generated and the machine
disconnects from the line.

Select one of the following disposition requests. If you skip this step, the
default action set as described in the " Dealing with Polled Documents "
section on page 102 will be used.
Press 0 to delete a document after transmitting (default).
Press 1 to save a document after printing.
Press 2 to print document locally and delete after transmitting.

Press Start.
