Accessing the Supervisor Menu

Supervisor Access Mode
FastAccess: M571
The Supervisor menu may be protected by setting this option to PASSWORD
REQUIRED and assigning a password. When this option is set in this manner,
accessing the Supervisor Menu will require entering the password. This option
may be set to Free or Password Required.
If you set Password Required, make sure to record the password in some
manner. If the password is forgotten, you will not be able to access the
Supervisor menu.
To require passwords for Supervisor menu access:

Press Menu.

Press 5 to select the Supervisor Menu.

If required, enter the Supervisor Menu password.

Press 7 to select the Access menu option.

Press 1 to select the Supervisor access menu option.
Press Æ until the desired setting displays: Free or Password required .

Press Enter. If set to Password required the next screen is displayed.

Enter a password using the numeric keypad. You must use at least four
digits for the password.

Press Enter.

Type the password again to confirm it.

Press Enter.

You may select another option or press Stop to go to standby.
