Erase Mailbox Content

Documents are automatically deleted from a mailbox after they are printed. To
delete pending mailbox jobs, see the " Canceling a Pending Job " section on
page 43. To print a Mailbox Report, see the " Mailbox Report " section on page
125.

Mailboxes and DTMF

You may place calls to the Konica Fax 9825 using DTMF dialing sequences in
order to send faxes to or retrieve documents from mailboxes.
What is DTMF?
DTMF stands for Dual Tone Multi Frequency. A fax machine that supports this
function can interpret tones generated from a touch-tone phone.
DTMF allows remote callers to send faxes to or retrieve documents from the
20 mailboxes. The Konica Fax 9825 also uses DTMF to allow remote callers
to retrieve faxes stored in confidential memory. See the " Retrieving
Confidential Documents with DTMF " section on page 106 for further
information.
