Sending a Fax
Outgoing Faxes Menu
Send From Memory
FastAccess: M2315
(Default = Yes)
The machine automatically transmits multiple destination jobs (delayed send,
group, manual broadcast, and mailbox jobs) by scanning the document into
memory and sending the document from memory.
Single destination jobs are transmitted from memory only if the Send From
Memory option is on (the default). If this option is turned off, the fax is scanned
only after connecting to the remote machine and is sent directly from the
document feeder.
You will usually want to use the memory send feature. The document you wish
to fax is stored in the memory of the Konica Fax 9825 when you start to send
the fax. This allows the machine to retry sending the fax in case of failure.
If you disable this feature, the document will not be scanned until after the call
is connected.
