Is the incoming call a manual fax transmission or a voice call? The Minoltafax 1100 will not switch over to auto fax mode, but will allow the fax machine to ring a further seven times. If the incoming call remains unanswered, your machine will automatically switch over to auto fax mode.
Is the incoming call an automatic fax transmission? You will hear a fax machine signal. The Minoltafax 1100 will recognise the incoming signal and automatically start receiving the fax transmission. If software switch 54 has been set at 00 (OFF), your fax machine will not start automatically.
E-MODE = ANSWER appears in the display. Is the incoming call an automatic fax transmission? You will hear a fax machine signal.
