Manual Answer with Voice Contact
Make sure the Answer Phone option is set to Manually . This feature is usable
only if you have a telephone connected the TEL jack on your machine or have
an extension phone on the same line as your machine.

When you receive an incoming call, lift the telephone handset.

Remove any documents from the automatic document feeder (ADF).

If desired, establish voice contact.

If you hear a fax tone, press Start and hang up the telephone. The
machine receives the incoming fax.
If you hang up the phone before you press the Start key, the line
disconnects.
Using Distinctive Ring Service

(Default = No)
If you have subscribed to "Distinctive Ring Service" from your telephone
company, you can enable this feature to have the Konica Fax 9825 answer
only calls with a double ring—that is, fax calls only.
