Faxing 2-sided Documents

You no longer need to go to another copier in order to send two-sided originals.
By accessing the 2-sided original option from the Next document menu, you
can scan the entire document right from the fax machine. If selected, you will
have 60 seconds to place the 2-sided original in the ADF and press Start. Once
the entire document has been scanned, you will then flip the document over
and place it in the ADF. The machine will automatically begin scanning the
even-numbered pages. Once the document has been scanned to memory, the
machine will sort the pages and fax them out in the proper order.
To send a 2-sided original fax document:

Load up to 50 2-sided document pages face-down in the document feeder.
Adjust the paper guides to the width of the document.

Press 2 to select the Fax menu.

Press 1 to select the Next document menu.

Press 3 to select the 2-sided original menu.
Press à until the desired setting displays: Yes.

Press Enter.

If desired, select any special features for the operation. You will have 60
seconds to do so.

Enter the telephone number.
To send to a single location, enter the telephone number using one of the
dialing methods and go to the next step. See the "Dialing Methods" section
on page 57 for detailed information.
To send to multiple locations, see the "Broadcast Send" section on page
68.
