    Data Coupler Information The Konica Fax 9825 machine contains an internal data coupler. Its use is restricted by the FCC (Federal Communication Commission). To comply with the FCC rules, you must carefully read and follow the instructions listed below.

    Be careful when handling the toner cartridge. Toner is the black powder which acts as ink for the Konica Fax 9825. Do not let toner spill onto your clothing or other porous materials. If you do spill toner, small amounts can be removed from skin or clothing with soap and cold water.

    The Second Paper Cassette Unit comes with a Second Front Cover and a Connector Cable. Turn the Konica Fax 9825 power switch to the Off position and remove the AC power cord. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet first and then from the Konica Fax 9825.

Answering Fax Calls You can receive fax calls automatically, manually, or manually with voice. You may have distinctive ring service and you may also have an answering machine or telephones on the same line.

  • Page 207 Faxing 2-sided Documents Fast Access: M213 You no longer need to go to another copier in order to send two-sided originals. By accessing the 2-sided original option from the Next document menu, you can scan the entire document right from the fax machine. If selected, you will have 60 seconds to place the 2-sided original in the ADF and press Start.
  • Page 208 Press Start. After the entire document has been scanned, flip it over and place it in the ADF. It will automatically begin scanning the remainder of the document. You do not need to sort the pages when scanning the back sides of the document.

Use the numeric keypad to enter the desired number of copies (from 1 to 99). The default is 1. Press Start/Copy to continue.
