Auxiliary Output Signals

Calibration and other signals can be output through the
connector labeled AUX OUT.
Use the Auxiliary Output to send the following signals to
other instruments:
Trigger Enabled - This function can be used as a gating
function to trigger another instrument when the
oscilloscope is ready.
Trigger Out - This function can be used to trigger an
external oscilloscope.
Pass/Fail - Allows you to set a pulse duration (which
varies based on your specific model, refer to
datasheet specifications at www.teledynelecroy.com
for details); generates a pulse when pass/fail testing is active and
conditions are met.
Fast Edge - Some models provide this signal output
used to deskew multiple channels. The Fast Edge
connection varies based on model and is either SMA or BNC.
Calibration Output Signals
A calibration signal can be output from the Probe Calibration Hook on the
front of the oscilloscope. The following Calibration Output Signals are
available for use:
Square Wave - You can set a Frequency value (varied
based on your specific model, refer to datasheet
specifications at www.teledynelecroy.com for details).
DC Level - This is a reference level.
Off - This function turns off the Auxiliary Output
signal.
