Measurement
This trigger type allows you to leverage parameter
measurements as waveform trigger conditions. A measurement
trigger is either the only trigger or the final trigger in a chain of
trigger events including hardware triggers.
MultiStage
This is a set of trigger types where the trigger event depends on a series of
earlier conditions being met.
C
ASCADED
The Cascaded trigger allows you to define successive trigger
Stages (referred to as Stage A, B, C, and D) as arm, trigger/arm,
trigger/arm, trigger criteria, respectively.
Q
F
UAL
IRST
In single trigger mode, QualFirst arms the oscilloscope on the A
event, and then triggers on all subsequent B events.
NOTE
: This selection is enabled when using sequence sampling mode. It is
commonly used for disk drive applications with the index pulse defined as the A
qualifier signal and the servo gate signal as the B triggering events.
Q
A-B
UALIFIED
In single trigger mode, Qualify A-B arms the oscilloscope on the
A event, and then triggers on the B event. If the oscilloscope is
in Normal trigger mode, it automatically resets after the B
event. Arm trigger events can be set for Edge, Pattern, State, and PatState.
S
TATE
The State trigger is a level-qualified trigger which requires that
the qualifying signal remain above or below a specified voltage
level for a trigger to occur. For State trigger, you specify the
time or number of events after the signal has gone above or below the
voltage level when you want the trigger to occur.
