A proxy server is used to provide access outside a corporate "firewall." Most users
will not need to set up a proxy server. Generally, you only need to add a proxy server
if your Network Preferences are set up to dial a modem inside a corporate network.
Check with your network administrator to see if you need to complete these fields.
1. Tap
to view the Applications Launcher.
2. Tap
to open EudoraWeb.
3. Tap
to open the menus.
4. From the Options menu, select Preferences.
5. Tap the box next to Proxy (by default this shows None).
6. Tap the Host line. Enter the proxy server name or Internet address. Obtain the
information you enter in the fields from your network administrator.
7. Tap the Port line. Enter the configuration parameter for the proxy server.
8. Tap the Exceptions line. Enter the domain-name endings for which the browser
should not use the proxy.
