VOICE MAIL NOTE:
TEXT MESSAGE NOTE:
To use Messages, you must first set up a voice mail account with your service
provider. Once you have this account, get the appropriate phone number from your
service provider and enter it in the Phone Preferences screen.
1. Tap to view the Applications Launcher.
2. Tap to open the last Preferences screen you
used.
3. Tap the pick list in the upper-right corner and select
Phone.
4. If the phone number of your voice mailbox does not
already appear in the Voice Mail field, tap the Voice
Mail text box.
The Voice Mail screen appears.
5. Write the phone number used to call your voice mailbox. This phone number is
assigned by your telephone service provider. If you are not sure what number to
enter, contact your service provider.
6. When you have finished, tap Done.
