You can set an audible alarm to remind yourself of upcoming events. The alarm
sounds even if the phone is turned off.
The default alarm setting is five minutes before an event, but you can change this
time period to any number of minutes, hours, or days. When you set an alarm,
appears to the far right of the event.
When the alarm tone sounds, a reminder message appears on the screen. If the
phone is turned on, this message (including the event date or time) appears whether
the flip is open or closed.
1. Press the Date Book
2. Tap the event to which you want to assign an alarm.
3. Tap Details to open the Event Details dialog for that event.
4. To activate the alarm, tap the Alarm check box.
5. Tap
to select Minutes, Hours, or Days.
6. Enter any number from 0 to 99 (inclusive) as the numeric alarm setting.
7. Tap OK to return to the Date Book screen.
