GPI Examples

Refer to Figure 13-1 and Figure 13-2 for these examples. The options available in the
Input and Output Properties areas are summarized in Table 13-1 and Table 13-2.
If an event consists of just one input, AND and OR deliver the same result and may be
used interchangeably.
13.9.1

Move a Fader to Turn Off the Floor Monitors

This example demonstrates how to turn off the floor monitors by moving any one of
several faders above a selected level.
1. In the Event Configuration window, under Event List, click on the <click to
add event> field.
The Add Event dialog appears.
2. Select Or as the logical operator from the dropdown menu.
3. Under Input, click on the <click to add input> field.
The Add Input Event dialog appears.
4. Select Fader from the dropdown menu and click OK.

Configure the Input Properties to the following settings:
Channel #
Activation level (dB) -50
Activation Type

Repeat steps 3–5 for any additional channel faders and set the Channel # in
step 5 to the new channel number.
7. Under Output, click on the <click to add output> field.
The Add Output Event dialog appears.

Select Control Room from the dropdown menu and click OK.

Configure the Output Properties to the following settings:
