    R-1 sounds better than the best two-inch tape and digital reel-to-reel machines. This Supplement to the R-1 Operation Manual discusses all changes and new features offered by the R-1 Pilot hardware and software version 3 and 4. If a feature’s descrip- tion differs in the R-1 Operation Manual from this supplement, the supplement should be considered correct.
