Check the diode:
1. Disconnect the iumPer wire
2 . R e m o v e t h e A / C d i o d e f r o m
the under hood fuse/relaY box
3. Check for current flow in both
directions between the A and
B terminals.

Chock for an open in the wire:
1 . T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h O N
( l l ) .
2. Measure the voltage between
the No. 2 terminal of the AJC
d i o d e 2 P s o c k e t a n d b o d y
ground.
Repair opon in the wire betwe€n
t h e N o . 1 7 l u s e a n d t h e A / c
diode.
