16. Install the steering wheel nut, and connect the horn
c o n n e c t o r t o t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l . T h e n i n s t a l l t h e
driver's airbag.
TORX SOLTS
9.8 N m 11.0 kgf m, 7.2 lbtftl
Replace.
Use a Torx T30 bit.

1 7 . Attach the cable reel 2P and 3P connector to the con-
n e c t o r h o l d e r . T h e n i n s t a l l t h e d r i v e r ' s d a s h b o a r d
lower cover.

18. Reconnect the driver's airbag 2P connector to the
c a b l e r e e l 2 P c o n n e c t o r . a n d r e i n s t a l l t h e a c c e s s
panel on the steering wheel.
19. Reconnect the battery positive cable, then the nega-
tive cable.
20. After installing the cable reel, confirm proper sys-
tem operation:
Turn the ignition switch ON (ll); the SRS indica-
tor light should come on for about six seconds
and then go off.
Make sure both horn buttons work.
