This chapter describes the file transfer utility supported by the IBM
3270 terminal emulation.

Introduction

TeemTalk enables you to transfer files using the IND$FILE transfer facility when
running the IBM 3270 emulation. This chapter describes the basic procedure for
sending and receiving files then goes on to describe all the options in the Ind$File
dialog box.

Disabling Host Messages

When working in a CMS or TSO environment it is possible that messages from the
host may interrupt the file transfer process if you do not respond to them. You can
prevent the host from sending messages by typing the following on the command line
of your terminal session then pressing Enter:
When the file transfer has been completed, enable host messages again by typing one
of the following on the command line of your terminal session then pressing Enter:
