IBM File Transfer
Local File
This specifies the name of a local PC file to be transferred to the host, or to assign a
different name to a host file being transferred to the local PC.
Host File
This specifies the name of a host file to be transferred to the local PC, or to assign a
different name to a local file being transferred to the host.
Clear Session Before Transfer
Factory default: Unselected
The setting of this option determines whether or not a clear session command is sent
to the host before a file transfer commences.
Packet Size
Factory default: 2048
This sets the maximum size of packets that can be sent or received. The valid range is
from 256 to 32768 bytes.
Timeout (Secs)
Factory default: 120
This specifies the length of time in seconds that the file transfer program waits for a
response from the remote host before generating an error message. The valid range is
from 20 to 65525 seconds.
