This chapter describes the FTP file transfer utility which enables you

to transfer files in ASCII, Binary or Tenex format between your

workstation and systems running the FTP daemon ftpd.

The basic procedure for transferring files is described below. Following sections

describe the various options available in detail.

1. Display the TeemTalk File menu on your workstation and select FTP. The FTP

File Transfer dialog box will be displayed, as shown below and overleaf. Note

that the upper list box will display the contents of the local home directory.
