What Settings Can You Configure in Setup Mode?

PA30 Print Engine User's Manual
Note: Read-only settings appear in brackets.
In Setup mode, you can configure most basic PA30 settings,
including serial and network communication, applicator port,
media parameters, and print engine settings such as feed adjust.
The next section lists the PA30 settings you can configure in
Setup mode.
Note: Some PA30 settings can only be configured through the
web browser interface or by sending Fingerprint commands to the
printer.

Serial Communication Settings

• Baud rate
• Character length
• Parity
• Stop bits
• Flow control
• New line
• Receiver buffer
• Transmit buffer

Network Communication Settings

• IP selection (DHCP, BOOTP, combination, or manual)
• IP address (if manually configured)
• Netmask
• Default router
