Replacing the sender lamp

Remove the sender/receiver unit,

Place the SR-unit in a clean, dry place with little dust.

Loosen six screws. (see Figure)

Take the cover off to the rear.

Replace the used activated charcoal bag with a new one.

Replace the cover and screw tight.

Refit the SR-unit.
Material required
Phillips screwdriver
Allen key (5 mm)
Sender lamp
Heat-resistant support
WARNING
Burns by touching the hot sender lamp
When the sender lamp is replaced, it can still be very hot.
Wear suitable protective gloves.
Place the sender lamp only on a heat-resistant underlay.
DANGER
Burns from touching the hot components when the SR-unit is open
When the SR-unit is open, components that become very hot during operation, such as
the UV sender lamp or heat sink on the sender lamp, are accessible. Skin contact with
these components can lead to burns.
Before opening the SR-unit
Disconnect the voltage supply
Allow the SR-unit to cool down
Wear heat protection gloves
