Select Unlocked from the Admin State drop-down list.
Repeat Step 5 for the Secondary Member.
Select a cable type.
For OC-3 ports, select Straight.
For DS-3 ports, select either Y-cable or Straight.
Note
The APS selection is enabled only when straight cable is
selected.
Click to select the Unidirectional 1 Plus 1 to enable the
ATM switch to automatically switch the active to standby if the
card fails.
Click OK. The newly created Protection Groups display in the
tabular view (Figure 6–3).
