When a fault occurs that generates an alarm for a CPX-1000
network element, JetCraft provides immediate alarm notification
in two places:
An alarm message appears in the Alarm window
(Figure 10–1).
An alarm mark (colored "X") identifies the alarmed element
in the Tree and Shelf views.

indication of its importance
