Meaning
This item allows you to select the amount of time to display memory information (specifically, the memory
used by the serial redirection module) on the POST screen.

USB Configuration submenu

The USB Configuration submenu allows you to set all universal serial bus
(USB)-related configuration options.
Meaning
This item allows you to enable or disable booting with a USB key, and legacy USB support for the USB mouse
and USB keyboard.
By selecting Disabled, legacy USB support will be disabled. You will not be able to use any USB device when
booting the unit. By selecting Enabled, legacy USB support will be enabled. You can use a USB device when
booting the unit. By selecting Auto, legacy USB support will be enabled if USB devices are connected.
Otherwise, legacy USB support will be disabled.
It is strongly recommended that this option is not disabled.
This item allows you to select the data transfer speed of the USB 2.0 controller.
By selecting FullSpeed, the USB ports will operate at 12 Mbps. This option is only required if you have USB
devices that only operate at 12 Mbps (FullSpeed). By selecting HiSpeed, the USB ports will operate at 480 Mbps.
This item is a workaround for operating systems that do not support an Enhanced Host Controller Interface
(EHCI) for USB 2.0 devices.
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) operating systems and greater support an EHCI host controller
for USB 2.0 devices; if using such an operating system, you can set this item to Disabled. However, you
should leave this item set to Enabled to support all Windows Pre-SP2 operating systems.
If using Microsoft Windows XP , you need to install Service Pack 2 (SP2) or greater to take advantage of all
the features available in the Matrox 4Sight X unit and MIL.
This item allows you to enable or disable hotplug support for USB floppy disk drives. Hotplug support allows
you to remove or replace a USB floppy disk drive, after POST has run, without having to reboot the unit.
By selecting Disabled, there is no hotplug support for a USB floppy disk drive.
By selecting Enabled, a dummy device is created that will be associated with the USB floppy disk drive. To
enable hotplug support for USB floppy disk drives, a "dummy" device must be set up before you can attach
an actual USB floppy disk drive to the unit.
By selecting Auto, a dummy device is created only if there is no USB floppy disk drive connected to the unit.
Otherwise, a dummy device is not created.
