The Matrox 4Sight X motherboard supports either the Intel Celeron 550
processor running at 2.0 GHz, or the Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor running
at 2.2 GHz.
The chipset consists of the Intel GME965 graphics and memory controller hub
(GMCH) and the Intel ICH8 I/O controller hub (ICH).
The Intel GME965 components include:
• A computer memory (RAM) controller, which can support two 64-bit SO-DIMM
main memory interfaces, running at up to 667 Mhz.
• A serial digital video out (SDVO) port, which can transfer video data to the video
encoder for output to a digital display device.
• An analog video display port.
• IEEE 1394b ports.
The Intel ICH8 components include:
• A PCI interface, which can transfer data over the 32-bit PCI bus at rates up to
133 Mbytes/sec.
• A PCIe interface, which can transfer data over the PCIe bus at rates up to
1 Gbyte/sec.
• A SATA controller.
• A USB 2.0/1.1 controller.
• A RealTime clock.
• A GigE LAN controller at rates of 10/100/1000 Mbits/s.
• A high-definition audio controller.
