The back panel of the PCI/104-Express Matrox 4Sight X unit can have the
following connectors on the faceplate:
• Two Camera Link connectors and two auxiliary I/O connectors on the faceplate,
if the Matrox Solios eM-CLB/eM-CLF for PCI/104-Express board is factory
installed in the unit.
• Two remote head connectors and an auxiliary I/O connector on the faceplate, if
the Matrox Nexis for PCI-104 board is factory installed in the unit.
• Four remote head connectors and two auxiliary I/O connectors on the faceplate,
if two Matrox Nexis for PCI-104 boards are factory installed in the unit.
• A video input connector on the faceplate, if the Matrox Morphis Dual for PCI-104
board is factory installed in the unit.
• A video input connector on the faceplate, if the Matrox Meteor-II /Multi-Channel
for PCI-104 board is factory installed in the unit.

Serial port connectors

The two serial port connectors are 9-pin, D-SUB male connectors. Although they
are both configured for RS-232 standard, the configuration of the bottom
connector can be changed to accommodate the RS-485 standard by adjusting the
unit's internal dip switch. When the bottom serial port connector is configured
for the RS-485 standard, you can activate resistor termination on the serial port
connector through the internal dip switch. For more information on this switch,
refer to the Dip switch subsection in the Pinout descriptions of internal connectors
and dip switch section in this appendix. The following tables provide the pinout
for each serial port.
