AHCI Configuration submenu

The AHCI Configuration submenu reports on the mass storage devices
(connected to the two SATA ports) that have been auto-detected by the BIOS.
This submenu also allows you to disable these devices.
If you need to use this submenu, you must:
- Set the ATA/IDE Configuration item to Enhanced in the IDE Configuration
submenu.
- Set the Configure SATA As item to AHCI in the IDE Configuration submenu.
If you do not change the above items, you will not be able to use the AHCI
Configuration submenu.
AHCI Port 0 sub-submenu
The AHCI Port 0 sub-submenu reports on the mass storage device that is
connected to SATA port 0, and also allows you to block this port from
receiving/sending data.
Meaning
This item reports the device (connected to SATA port 0) that the BIOS has auto-detected.
This item allows the BIOS to auto-detect the type of device connected to SATA por t 0, or to disable the device
connected to the port.
By selecting Auto, the BIOS will auto-detect the type of mass storage device that is connected to SATA port 0.
By selecting Not Installed, you will not be able to communicate with any device connected to SATA por t 0.
AHCI Port 1 sub-submenu
The AHCI Port 1 sub-submenu reports on the mass storage device that is
connected to SATA port 1, and also allows you to block this port from
receiving/sending data.
Meaning
This item reports the device (connected to SATA port 1) that the BIOS has auto-detected.
This item allows the BIOS to auto-detect the type of device connected to SATA por t 1, or to disable the device
connected to the port.
By selecting Auto, the BIOS will auto-detect the type of mass storage device that is connected to SATA port 1.
By selecting Not Installed, you will not be able to communicate with any device connected to SATA por t 1.
