• Matrox or third-party PCI-104 or PCI/104-Express boards (for the
PCI/104-Express Matrox 4Sight X unit only). Note that the PCI/104-Express
Matrox 4Sight X unit does not support all PCI-104 boards. Use only PCI-104
boards with 3.3 V signalling.
• Four USB devices (USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible), such as a USB mouse, keyboard,
printer, flash drive, hard disk drive, or a USB-connected CD/DVD drive.
Note that the unit also contains another two internal USB connectors and one
internal USB header (on the motherboard).
• Two GigE Ethernet interfaces at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
• Two video output display devices: a high-resolution analog display device (such
as an analog monitor or analog flat panel), and a high-resolution digital display
device (such as a digital flat panel).
• Three IEEE 1394a/b cameras.
• Two serial devices.
• External devices that connect to the auxiliary I/O interface.
• A stereo audio device.

Connecting video output display devices

You can connect up to two video output display devices to the Matrox 4Sight X unit:
• You can connect a high-resolution analog display device (such as an analog
monitor or an analog flat panel) to the analog video output connector.
• You can connect a high-resolution digital display device (such as a digital flat panel)
to the DVI-D connector.
The procedures required to connect these display devices are outlined in the
following subsections.
