Map Display
Once a map service has been chosen, use
elements to include in the map presentation. The map is only shown in
Horizontal views when
Safety Depth
The
Safety Depth
thus the presentation of the various water depths. Once a map is projected on
top of the echo data, the depth contour lines are drawn with specific colours.
Tooltip
When you move the cursor over the echograms in the display presentation,
small "tooltips" are shown to provide additional information. The
page controls which tooltips that are shown.
Own Ship
In order to maintain a visual presentation of your vessel's previous
movements, you can draw these with a line. This line is drawn after the
vessel symbol in the sonar views, and visualizes your past movements. We
refer to this line as the History Line. When the history line is active, the
length (in minutes) of the line can be defined.
Vertical View Orientation
The
Vertical View Orientation
views should be presented from right to left, or from left to right.
Off Centre
When the vessel symbol is moved away from the centre of the view, more
space is made available for the echo presentations. If you keep the same
range setting, this added space causes a "zoom" effect. The distance from the
vessel to the outer edge of the search area is the same, but it is "stretched"
out. You may not want this to happen.
Current Flow
A current sensor can be connected to the SN90 system. This can for example
be an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP). The information from this
sensor is presented in the applicable views. Use the
define key settings for the presentation of the sensor data.
The
Current Vector
current under your vessel. One or more arrow are drawn to or from the vessel
symbol to indicate the properties of the sea currents.
Cursor Readout
It is often helpful to see information about the cursor and the active markers
in the view. Use the
the readout field in the bottom corner of the view. When enabled, you can
see the cursor's position (bearing and distance) and depth in the lower right
