The purpose of this publication is to provide the descriptions,
procedures and detailed parameter explanations required to allow for
safe and efficient use of the SN90 system. This publication is intended
for all regular users of the SN90 system. Due to the nature of the
descriptions and the level of detail provided by this publication, it is
well suited for those who are - or wish to be - expert users.
Caution
You must never permit the SN90 system to transmit (ping) when the
ship is in a dry dock. The transducer can be damaged if it transmits
in the open air.
Additional end-user documents related to the SN90 system can be
found on our website. This includes publications that are translated
into other languages. Selected publications are also provided in IETM
(Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) formats.
