Introduction

Requirements

C E N T R E W A R E
The Xerox CentreWare Driver Installer (CDI) is a utility for use on a
Novell NetWare based network of workstations running Microsoft
Windows.
The CentreWare Driver Installer (CDI) option of CentreWare DP gives
you a tool to automatically control how print drivers are distributed in your
Novell NetWare network environment.
Using Novell NetWare login scripts, CDI enables System Administrators
(sysadmin) to configure printer drivers for installation on PC workstations
from a network.
This section will provide information on how CDI is used to automate the
process of driver installation, removal, and upgrades.
Network server running Novell NetWare 3.11 or later.
One or more networked PC clients, 386 class or above, with at least 8
megabytes of RAM and Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11, and Windows
95.
