Installing Productivity Software
The PCturbo 286e comes with Productivity
Software to improve your system's performance.
This software includes TurboCache Disk
Caching, TurboDrive RAM Disk, and Print
Spooling.

Disk 'Caching is automatically installed
when ever you enter Turbo mode, so you
will not have to type the command.
You can edit your CONFIG.SYS file to
install RAM Disks in the host's memory.
RAM Disks placed in host memory will be
available in Turbo and Host mode. (RAM
Disks placed in TURBO.SYS will be in the
Turbo's memory and will be available only
in Turbo mode.) The command syntax is
given in Appendix
B.
Print Spooling can be invoked from the
HOSTEXEC.BAT file or typed from the
keyboard while in host mode.
It
will
spool printouts made in Turbo and host
mode. The command syntax is in
Appendix
B.
