The PCturbo 286e makes your system up to 200%
faster than an AT; up to 500% faster than a PC
or XT.
It
brings this speed increase to your
existing programs running under standard DOS.
It
also allows for the new Lotus Expanded
Memory Specification (EMS) and for future
Operating Systems that use the Protected Mode
of the Intel 80286 Processor.
The PC turbo 286e is a self-contained system
with processor and a full complement of RAM
memory. Its 80286 processor runs at 8MHz
with no wait-states.
It
will accept an 80287
ma th coprocessor for even greater speed.
The TurboBus connector allows for future
daughtercards--including custom designs for
special applications--to be directly connected
for highly efficient operation.
The PC turbo 286e plugs into one standard
expansion slot in the host system. The host
can be an IBM PC, XT, or compatible computer.
