If you choose not to enter Turbo mode when
asked, you can do so at later by using the
TURBO command. The first time you enter Turbo
. mode, DOS will be loaded onto the Turbo and
the TURBO.SYS and TURBEXEC.BA T files will be
installed.
NOTE: The HOSTEXEC.BA T file can be
modified to take yon directly into Turbo
mode. Remove the ASK command and the
ISERRORLEVELcommand immediately
following it and replace them with the
command. TURBO.
Switching Between Host and Turbo
Sometimes you may have a special application
that can only be run on the host, such as
showing your friends how slow your old system
was. The PCturbo 286e makes this easy. You
can switch between the host and the Turbo any
time the DOS prompt is displayed.
To switch to the Turbo, type
turbo
To switch back to the host, type
unturbo
