TurboBus II expansion bus which allows
daughtercards to be directly connected to
the PCturbo 286e. Future expandability
is ensured because daughtercards can be
added to customize the system. The
Technical Reference Manual provides the
information you need to design your own
daughtercards for special applications.

Coprocessing that puts the host system to
work in the background handling I/O for
maximum dual-processor performance.

Parallel Processing capability allows I
to 4 Turbos to be used in the same system
with a different program running on each.
You can work with one program, say
writing notes with your editor, while
another Turbo is processing a long
job, such as compiling a large file or
sorting a big database. This far
outperforms .concurrent operating systems,
beca use they force the same processor to
do all the work; parallel processing
assigns one PCturbo 286e to each program.
