If you boot from a hard disk, create a backup
boot disk by formatting a boot able floppy and
copying the boot files onto it, as shown
below:
I.
Log onto the root directory of the hard
disk. If the hard disk is drive C,
type
c:<Enter>
(The word <Enter> means pressing the
Enter key)
2.
Place a blank disk in the A: drive and
type
format a:/s <Enter>
3.
Copy the AUTOEXEC.BAT file by typing
copy autoexec.bat a: <Enter>
4.
Copy the system files by typing
copy ·,sys a: <Enter>
NOTE: The software supplied with the
PCturbo 286e is not copy protected and
can be installed on your Turbocharged
system as many times as you want. If you
change your hardware, re-run the INSTALL
program.
It
will automatically detect
that the PCturbo is being re-installed
and perform the appropriate steps.
