HARDWARE INSTALLATION
Power Requirements
Be sure that your system provides adequate
current for the cards you have installed. The
PCturbo 286e requires the following current
from the +5V supply:
2.75 Amps with 1.0 MB installed
3.00 Amps with 2.0 MB installed
NOTE: Standard IBM PCs may need to be
upgraded to the 135 Watt power supply
if
many adapter boards are used with the
PCturbo 286e. This is the size power
supply used in the IBM XT.
