OPERATION
Operating the PC turbo 286e is almost
completely transparent to the user. The basic
procedures are outlined on this page.
Appendix B, the Command Summary, goes into
detail about the many soft:ware options
available.
When you first boot your system, you will be
asked if you wish to Turbocharge. If you
.
answer yes, the PC turbo 286e will boot up and
you can begin using
it.
If you answer no, you
will continue operating the host.
You can switch between the host and the Turbo
any time the DOS prompt is displayed:
o
Type TURBO to execute on the Turbo
o
. Type UNTURBO to return to the host.
REBOOTING. YOUR SYSTEM
If you reboot «Ctrl>-<A1t>-<Del» your system
while executing on the hQll,only the host
will be affected; the.next time you invoke
the TURBOcommand,if it had already been
invoked once slncepower· on, ;twill return to
its previous state.
If you .rebo.ot your system while executing on
thePCturbo, both the PCturbo andthe.host
system will be rebooted (both will cold boot).
