HARDWARE
PC turbo 286e requires the exclusive use of one
of the host's interrupt lines, either IRQ2,
''-./
IRQ3, IRQ5, or IRQ7. The interruPt chosen for
the PCturbo 286e cannot be used by other
peripherals in the host system.
The PCturho 286e uses eight consecutive I/O
addresses. The default is 300 - 307 hex.
The 80287 math chip uses one of the Turbo's
interrupts, either 5 or 7. This does not
conflict with devices in the host system
using either of these interrupts.
The PC turbo 286e uses a 64K block of the
host's memory for dual port memory.
It
can be
loca ted at either AOOO:O, BOOO:O, COOO:O,
DOOO:O, or EOOO:O. The INSTALL program wil1
check to see which one of these blocks is
available.
The current version of the Turbo does not
work with networks, but the Turbo can be in a
system that is on a network as long as you do
not enter Turbo mode while on the network.
The standard Turbo does not run AT-specific
software, such as UNIX and programs that use
AT I/O hardware. The current version does
not al10w multiple Turbos in the same system.
The PC turbo 286e will work with the Enhanced
Graphics Adapter when the EGA is emulating the
standard graphics adapter, but it does not
work in high-resolution graphics mode with the

Enhanced display.
