SOFTWARE OVERVIEW

Kelvin comes with software device drivers for popu-
lar software applications and a comprehensive range
of utility programs. Kelvin provides register-level
VGA mode compatibility. Software programs can
be operated in this mode using drivers supplied by
the software manufacturer. The high resolution driv-
ers available are:
Windows 3.1
Lotus 1-2-3
Other drivers are available through the Orchid Tech-
nical Support Department, or may be downloaded
from the Orchid Bulletin Board System or
CompuServe.

Before You Begin

Before installing any of the Kelvin high resolution
drivers, verify the capabilities of your monitor. If
you use Windows, you should set Windows to use
the standard VGA driver before beginning the Kelvin
driver installation. To set up the standard VGA
driver, follow the instructions below:
1. Change to your Windows directory. The Win-
dows Setup screen is displayed by typing:
SETUP
2. Highlight the Display option and press ENTER.
From the menu select the VGA video display
driver and press ENTER.
3. Save your configuration and exit to DOS.
