INSTALLING IN THE HOST SYSTEM
I.
Turn off the power.
2.
Remove the cover from your computer.
Unfasten the screws on the back of the
compu ter and slide the cover forward.
3.
Remove the adapter bracket from the
expansion slot you plan to use for the
PCturbo 286e. Save the adapter bracket
SCrew for Step 6.
4.
Lower the PCturbo 286e into the desired
expansion slot.

It
can go in any full-length
expansion slot.
o
Be sure that the card doesn't touch
adjacent boards or the metal
chassis. You may wish to try
different slots so that the
PCturbo 286e is not next to wide
boards.
5.
Be sure that the card-edge connector is
directly above the expansion slot
connector on the computer's main system
board, then firmly push the card down
into place.
6.
Fasten the Turbo's adapter bracket to the
chassis with the screw removed in Step 3.
Put the cover back onto the computer and
secure it with its mounting screws.
